5:12 a.m. Red-winged Blackbirds join the morning chorus.
5:19 a.m. Listen carefully for a variety of blackbird calls.
5:32 a.m. Western Meadowlarks add lovely resonance from here on out.
5:39 Canada geese celebrate the sunrise.

Recorded in high-quality digital stereo using specialized soundscape microphones. Extra care was taken to present periods of time with minimal human-caused noise.
